Maybe There’s A World

I have dreamt of an open world

borderless and wide

Where the people move from place to place

and nobody’s taking sides

It’s great to know he’s back on the road again. Have you heard his new album?

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen documentaries about him. He’s such an interesting character, and the way he recalls his childhood and narrates the stories behind his earlier songs make you really wonder about how there was always a hint of spirituality in him even though he was in the whole drugs and rock’n’roll scene.

Do you remember “Wild World”? It’s one of my favourite songs, I can’t believe he is the same person!

But again people grow and go through different stages of life, they’re the same people but they’re different. If you noticed even in his new songs you can feel the same character, spirit and philosophy.

“they’re the same people but they’re different. ” very true indeed.

It’s been a while since I bought a CD in the traditional way, Islam’s An Other Cup was the last such CD, and it’s worth paying hard earned cash for it.

You are right. Recently I got rid of all my old cassette tapes and CDs, the 70’s and 80’s songs but I kept Islam’s cassettes and CDs.

His songs are timeless and enduring because of his peaceful voice and inspiring lyrics.
